Bird Wind: Lesson from Crow

I noticed a crow perched on top of a very thin branch in a tree top. The wind was tossing it back and forth as much as a 90 degree change in direction. Watching it bobbing, I wondered how in the world the bird could remain there in such a strong wind. The next day I saw another crow in a high branch again, a gust of wind erratically moved the branch.
This thought occured to me as something that I apply or see myself as...
"Balancing on top of the tree in its highest branch - arms outstretched from my side - looking forward - I say:
'I am All of what came before me.
I am All that lies ahead.
May the Great Spirit keep my balance.'"
